The business is owned and directed by Peter who has worked in the asbestos industry for over 30 years and has a wealth of experience of working with a wide range of customers in construction, retail, housing, NHS and education. Peter started his asbestos career as a surveyor and analyst working with clients including British Gas, the Royal London and Barts NHS Trust, the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) and many more large-scale asbestos consultancy projects. Peter manages the Airtech business and enjoys working with clients and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Airtech is a family run business with most of its team living in Essex and London. We currently employ 15 team members that are highly qualified and experienced and passionate about what they do at Airtech.
Paul started his career within the asbestos industry as a trainee analyst with Airtech in 2000. Following director roles at two other national consultancies Paul re-joined Airtech in 2017 with a wealth of experience behind him and implemented a number of important step changes into the business. This included the implementation of the Teams software system into all parts of the business (laboratory, air monitoring and surveying), implementation of integrated management systems (health and safety, environmental and quality) and recruiting good consultants into the business. Paul is qualified to the Certificate of Competence in Asbestos (CCP).
Quality & Technical Manager
Dean has been with the business since 1998 and works tirelessly to maintain the high level of quality. Dean works closely with the consultancy teams and supports their training and personal development through regular auditing and training needs analysis. He is responsible for the external quality control schemes with RICE and AIMS. He also liaises closely with clients and delivers a range of surveying and asbestos removal projects and manages the bulk analysis in the laboratory. Dean is qualified to the Certificate of Competence in Asbestos (CCP).
In order to maintain our high standards, we ensure that all our team members receive the necessary in-house training and hold the qualifications required by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society):
